Photography workshop with Matteo Fenili

This workshop is intended to be a space for photography without judgement, where we look for good photos rather than beautiful ones. Open to everyone, no special skills or equipment are required, all you need is a digital camera (even a phone camera).

The main aim will be to be able to take a picture that, when put together with many others, can make the person who took it say ‘this picture is me’. To be able to recognise oneself at least a little in the images produced.

What really interests me? What foolishly attracts me or moves me intimately? What do I want to remember? What do I want to show about myself?

Without any certainty we will seek answers and other questions through the photographs.

Matteo Fenili

Matteo Fenili is a printer and photographer. Always intrigued by the visual arts, he has been photographing for about 10 years. Through collaborations and personal research, he tries to investigate human relationships, memory, and the role of images. He uses photography as a key to open doors, a means of approaching what he does not know.
